How to Play Let 'Em Ride

Let 'Em Ride TableLet 'Em Ride closely resembles Texas Hold'em, except the game is played against the house instead of against other players. In Let 'Em Ride, you don’t even play against a dealer - you just try to make the best hand possible.

If your final hand is strong enough, you will be paid according to the game's respective pay table (listed below).

Let 'Em Ride Rules

To begin a hand of Let 'Em Ride, you place one bet on the table in front of you. The dealer will then give you three cards face up and two cards face down. After you have a chance to look at your face up cards, you can choose to Continue or Raise.

If you want to Raise, you can do so by placing a second bet equal to the size of your first bet. If you want to Continue, you don’t have to do anything except wait for the next card. After you make your decision, the first face down card will be revealed.

Once again, you have the choice to Continue or Raise before revealing the final card. If you Raise, you will add another bet to the table equal in size to the first bet. Otherwise, you can choose to Continue without adding any additional bets.

After you make your choice, the dealer will reveal the final face-down card. Your five card poker hand is then evaluated, and you are paid out according to the following pay table:

Hand Explanation Payout
Royal Flush Ten through Ace of the same suit 1,000:1
Straight Flush Any five sequential cards of the same suit 200:1
Four of a Kind Four cards of the same value 50:1
Full House Three cards of one rank with two cards of another rank 11:1
Flush Any five cards of the same suit 8:1
Straight Any five consecutive cards (unsuited) 5:1
Three of a Kind Three cards of the same rank 3:1
Two Pair Two cards of one rank with two cards of another rank 2:1
Pair Two cards of the same rank 1:1

Optional Progressive Side Bet

Players also have the option to place a bet on the progressive jackpot that pays out extra for certain hands. In an online casino, you will usually see a button you can click to activate this bet for $1. A light will come on when you make the bet so you know that it is active.

Every time a person wagers money in the progressive jackpot, the casino uses a small percentage of that money to feed the progressive jackpot. The longer it goes without being hit, the larger the jackpot grows.

The progressive jackpot is handled a little differently at each casino, but the most common pay chart looks like this:

Hand Payout
Royal Flush 100% of the Jackpot
Straight Flush 10% of the Jackpot
Four of a Kind $500
Full House $100
Flush $75
